Biography
Rachael D. Lamkin is a mid-level associate with Wulfsberg Reese Colvig & Firstman practicing construction law and complex commercial litigation. Ms. Lamkin represents business owners and their agents in commercial litigation, and public and private property owners, design professionals, and contractors in complex construction matters.
Prior to joining Wulfsberg Reese Colvig & Firstman, Ms. Lamkin practiced at Day Casebeer Madrid & Batchelder (now merged with Howrey LLP) representing clients such as Amgen and SAP in large-scale patent litigation. Ms. Lamkin has also helped companies protect their “soft” intellectual property (e.g., trade secret, trademark, and trade dress) and worked on complex state and federal antitrust matters.
Ms. Lamkin received her J.D. from the University of California, Davis in 2006. While in law school, Ms. Lamkin was a two-term clerk for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office where she received a Commendation Of Excellence for her work on White Collar Crime and Money Laundering cases, and externed for the Honorable Lawrence K. Karlton, a federal judge in the Eastern District of California.

Professional Experience
Construction
Ms. Lamkin currently represents engineering firms in Surface Water Treatment Plant and Power Plant litigations. She has represented engineering and construction firms in contract and tort disputes.
Intellectual Property & Complex Commercial Litigation
Ms. Lamkin has represented clients in massive, complex patent litigations with national and international scope. She has also been on both the plaintiff and defense sides of “soft” intellectual property litigations such as trademark, trade secret, and trade dress litigations and portfolio negotiations. Ms. Lamkin has also represented clients in state and federal antitrust matters
